Studies show that while you work out the body suppresses digestion and release glucose and fatty acids into the bloodstream for energy. This prevents a person from feeling hungry. In fact, after exercise you won’t feel (physiologically) hungry until your body reaches a state of rest and energy fuels are back in storage. If you find yourself hungry from boredom get up, take a walk, move, stretch & bend. Physiologically you’ll curb your appetite, and hopefully that will help with the “head hunger” too.
Give it a try – can’t hurt!
